Suriname is situated in the Guiana Shield, one of the most biodiverse and least disturbed regions on Earth. This 10 days nocturnal expedition targets neotropical vipers, tree frogs, and elusive lizards in untouched primary rainforest. We offer both custom-made itineraries and fixed packaged tours tailored for passionate herpetologists and wildlife photographers.

Fredberg (3 days)
A pristine mountainous region offering incredible biodiversity, high canopy access, and a dense concentration of both snakes and amphibians.

Maratakka (3 days)
Riverine habitats where we focus on aquatic species, anacondas, and unique frogs endemic to the riparian zones.

Palulu (2 days)
Savanna woodland transition zone near the capital, providing excellent opportunities for specialized localized species.
What to Expect
Be prepared for long night hikes, high humidity, and basic but comfortable field camp accommodations. Fitness levels should be moderate to high. We move slowly to spot well-camouflaged wildlife, but the terrain can be uneven.
